3rd party software for Nvidia 5600 personal cinema

I recently installed an fx 5600 256mb card and the software that comes with it to watch TV (Intervideo WinDVR) crashes when I try to pause or time shift during live TV. Th rest of the computer runs smooth through the software crash. I installed Beyond TV software and the new version of Win DVR, neither of them were compatible/worked as a TV viewing/vivo setup.

Does anyone know of third party software that is similar to that of WinDVR? Will WinTV's software work?

Any help/links willbe greatly appreciated.
