Timing my video card purchase

I'm going to be buying a new video card. I have an ATI 9800 Pro 128. I plan on buying a 6800 GT. Now, the big reason for the upgrade is Battlefield 2 and I wanted a beefier card to handle that new game when it comes out. Anyhow, I want to know if I should just buy the card now or wait until Feb/March. Will the price of this series of cards go down before then?

System Specs

My guess is that the prices won't drop much, but if you can wait then wait until the game is coming out. You could for instance order a new card when there is official confirmation that the game is done and has gone off to production. Delays are common these days.

Sales would be my bet too. Those prices have been stable for a long time!
