gt bios to ultra bios

if my gt card is already running at utra speeds is there any reason to flash it ?
my card came with a nifty utility that makes it to easy.

by flashing to an ultra bios, the default 2d and 3d speeds will be faster and the core voltage will jump from 1.3v to 1.4v.

You're better off making a backup of your current bios and using nibitor to modify it.

thx for reply. thought maybe there was some other benefit. but right now my oc gives me 350/1100 2d & 400/1100 3d. the increased volt will probably give me higher oc but considering that the drivers oc 'optimisation' setup gave me a 412/1133 oc do not see the point.

Both the GT and Ultra have 6 vertex shaders and 16 pixel pipelines, so you won't gain anything there. The GT is basically an underclocked ultra.
