which bad card is better for CS?

a nvidia vanta LT 8MB agp 4x. it has a 100mhz core and 125 mem. it's 64bit

or a SiS650 onboard 64MB card. i don't have the other info for this one unfortunately. all i know is that it's 4x agp.

The SiS onboard because it has 64 MB of ram available to it. The 8 MB board more than likely won't even load the game.

yea, but that is shared memory so it is much much much slower...

but the onboard is still probably better.

i'm talking about the old CS

the old 8MB gets around 30-70 fps at 640x480 with every detail set to low, all the mip maps set to low, all the playermips set to low, max texture size of 128.

i would just switch to the onboard to see what happens, but my dad is limiting the changes i make to his computer now that i've formatted it for him.

if my memory serves me the SiS got 17 fps on assault w/ 19 bots. that was in 1.5, and i didn't know how to optimize CS back then. heck, i was probably playing at 1024x768

the more i think about this the less it matters, i'm ordering my laptop today, that has a 9700M 64mb, so i shouldn't have any problems w/ running CS on that.
