New e-GF FX 5950 Ultra fps to low

two days old ,my fps are way to low.

had 30 to 50 at Daytona at start and through turn 3-4.with GfTi 4600 3 days ago
Now I have 25 to 18 same spot with EVGA GF FX 5950 Ultra 256 mb!with forceware 53.03 drivers whql.
I cleaned out all old driver info first.

I have no bottlenecks in my system!

IntelD875PBZ mobo Bios P18 fsb 800
Intel 3.0 with latest updates.
Corsair Twinx 2x512 pc3200 DDR 400
2 x60 gig wd hdd
win xp pro sp1
450 watt pwr thermaltake
thermatake tower ,8 fans temps are cool

this card has in performance,475core clock and 950 mem clock,in quality it has 300core clock and 950 mem clock.

I have set the display properties to max and default tried both ways no change in fps.
used riva tuner and made sure of all settings .
vsunc on or off same thing
using 8x mobo and video card.
can use aa af at any settings 2,4,,8 etc no help!

everthing is working fine no trouble with any software or hardware.
only games i use are NASCAR 2003 and F1 2002 and F1 challenge
all games work fine just lousy fps in all !!!
one game is more cpu driven than the other so there is a slight difference in fps but they are all to low !!

help!!

is my only hope to re-install win xp pro/format ?oh my ,,help help help.

going into back now to eat worms and bury my head in the gravel.

How did you remove all traces of your old drivers? Have you tried any other drivers?

I play nascar myself and I certainly would think you would have better FPS's than that with your rig. Do all of the tracks have much lower FPS? How long has it been since you did a fresh OS install?

exclamation HOW ?

detonaTor_rip and nfr(nasty file remover)and device manager and regedit and nvcleaner.exe!

fps are low in MY OWN COMPARISON AT DAYTONA with my old gfti4600!

this is not track specific trouble it is video card trouble!

clean install is just about next!

going to try different older drivers first.

like 52.13,14,and 43.51,43.45,45.23,and 45.33

and I will remove all old files again and again with any and all methods to clean !

I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE BETTER FPS!!

I should be in the 50's not 20's..arghhhhhhh.

I have had it with the fixes from the other forums.yours is the only close suggestion and that is to try other drivers.I'm just going to try older drivers for the older games LIKE NASCAR2003...

guess the FX cards are geared for the newer stuff but with older drivers maybe newer card will run better...crap!
