Have an ASUS FX 5950Ultra? Please read!

If you have the card described in the thread name, could you please do me a favour, im looking for the Asus FX 5950Ultra BIOS, you can make a copy of yours by downloading X-BIOS from somewhere like www.guru3d.com

Reason:

Im having the Nvidia flicker problem and i need to use ASUS drivers to get my video card (ASUS FX 5900 Ultra) to work, it detects your video card and if its not ASUS the drivers wort install. The dets with the Fix (45.33 and later) dont fix it properly. Im looking for the FX 5950Ultra BIOS because recently it was discorvered you can flash your FX 5900 Ultras to 5950 Ultra and it gives the card a slight voltage boost, which allows more headroom for overclocking.

If anyone could help out please get in contact with me, my MSN address is in my profile along with my ICQ number.

Thanks in advance

5950 Ultra bios

Hey

I succesfully flashed my MSI5900 with the following Leadtek FX5950 Ultra bios. And I suppose you could use it aswell.

Here's the link: http://www.leadtek.com.tw/support/do...?pronameid=329

The link was found on this page along with details of how to flash and another link to a
Gainward 5950 ultra bios: http://www.madshrimps.be/forums/show...&threadid=3766

I know it's not the Asus bios but I
hope it can help.

No it HAS to be an ASUS BIOS, read the reason given above.

I know other BIOS's work in this card i've tried them before, its a case of driver compatability, you need an ASUS card to use the ASUS drivers, and i NEED to because of the flicker problem, normal dets dont get rid of it.
