Replace It Or Keepit
I have problem with my 5900 ultra 256mb pny i purchased the card about 7-19-2003.
The problem is capacators on the card clicking/resonating when you scroll on a 2d explore window. I unckecked smooth scrolling and fixed the problem.. Althou before finding this out i got a rma number from pny to repalce the card. Will i have have the same problem with the replacement card? Are all pny 5900 cards affected? If so has anybody had there card replaced and work better after that? thanks boneslug |

Welcome to DH boneslug!
Yes it does affect some of the 5900 cards. There is a few who have had some luck with a replacement but there is no guarantee. I am sorry but there is no for sure answer to your question. If it bothers you that much I would try a replacement but if not keep the one you have. I have a 5900 Siluro from ABIT and it does the same thing.

Ya once i took off smooth scrolling it dose not bother me anymore. I was just thinking if they came out with any better versions that fixed the problem but id hate to part from it even a week or 2 hehe boneslug |
