H20 for FX

While I was going through my pics I came across this. Some of ya might remember when I accidentaly got hella amounts of Arctic Silver on my 5600 Ultre and fried it. Or so I thought. It accually ended up comming back to life after about 3 days of heavy scrubbing. Dry and wet.

Unfortunatley about a week after that I was putting the thermaltake Giant III Videocard cooler back on and in the process I ended up crushing a couple of resistors. Damn card just was not meant to be. I wonder if I can get it RMA. I should try.

Wow, I never though of using soap and water. I always just use alcohol and compressed air.

The soap and water only came in after a day and a half of wiping and scrubing + a bottle of iciprop. alcohol and 2 bottles of compressed air. I had the card pretty coated with arctic silver. So just before I gave up hope I decided to try the soap and the toothbruch. And hey it worked. My best friend who lives with me can pretty much to anything. He's the one who made the web site I posted a while ago. http://www.lush.com. Not only did he make the site but he wrote all of the software for it. The site is bringing in over 25 grand a day right now. Anyways. he is also good with soddering and resistors and all that crazy stuff you guys are into. He said he could repair the card the only problem is we need to know what type of resistors thay are. I tried e-mailing chaintech but they never replied.
