hi i have a geforce 4 ti4200 8x agp and i get weird artifacts in my games now i get like flickering on the screen in quake but some games dont do it is my card overheating

Yes, that would be a heat issue. Try to clock the memory/coredown at 4 mhz intervals until the artifacting stops. It could be a memory module about to go, but I believe downclocking should stop it.

hi if i clock down my card to the absolute lowest it still does the same thing i also had the voltage on the card running at 1.7 volts for about a day i want a ati radeon what is better 9200 or fx5200

The fx 5200 offers nothing over what the card you have now is capable of. I would say go with a Radeon. Try to go for more midrange such as a 9500 or 9600 XT. Some 9500's can be modded into 9700 Pro's.

Both of those cards are slower than your current card. Get a r9500pro, or a r9600XT.

hi even if i put the voltage back to normal it still does the same think think i might go radeon i had a 7500ve before i love radeon they shit on nvidia god nvidia are unreliable this is the first part i have damged due to overclocking i have a amd athon 2000 oc to 2700 running at about 50c and no probs so are the omega drivers better for ati opinion will be appreciated heard some good things bout em
