GF4ti420064MB VS Radeon 9600Pro128 meg

I have the geforce 4, but i wanna up grade, but i am very limited, should i get a 9600 pro, or wait till next year to upgrade when prices come down again??

May I ask what are the rest of your systems specs? Also what is the absolute max you have to spend for an upgrade?

some good stuff here - GEFORCE TI4200 to a ATI RADEON 9600PRO ULTRA IS IT WORTH IT ?

I had a GF4 TI 4200 64DDR.My scores have gained ALLOT more points now that i have my ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128.

3D Mark 2003
GF4 TI 4200 = 1292
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro = 4592

3D Mark 2001 SE
GF4 TI 4200 = 11,791
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro = 11,543

Aquamark
GF4 Ti 4200 = 18,832
Ati Radeon 9600 Pro = 27,923

Shadermark v2.0
GF4 Ti 4200 = couldnt run it
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro = Here

All my scores gained allot.All but the 3D Mark 2001 SE, but thats a more DX8 based bench, right??I love my card now.Im happy to get rid of my nVidia card.
