Issues with 5900 non ultra evga card

I have a soyo motherboard kt400 plat dragon board. I have an evga non ultra 5900 once in a while on the first boot i get video beeps and no video. It has its own connector and it works fine once i finally get it to booted up. Takes me a while but i finally get it to boot with that card then there are some days it boots up fine with no problems eveything works great. I put the 5900 non ultra into another system it works fine everytime it is a gigybyte board with same power supply (less devices 1 hard drive 1 cdrom 1 floppy 2 fans.). All video cards that don't require power work fine everytime in it on my soyo. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas if you need them specs are below. Thanks
