Hi everybody!!
I am an old shool gamer who is just having fun w my SLI rig, since I finally got a 2nd video card! (not the newest system, but it does well)
anyways Just wanted to say hi, and happy Bird day to everyone.
I don't know how many sli gamers are in this forum, but anyone who can give me some pointers on how to squeeze the most out of SLI would certianly be a good discussion

welcome to the forums, im using tri sli right now. what do you need to know?

welcome to DH!! i have sli mobo but dont have 2 cards yet..im looking at getting 2 260s to add in december.. i really dont know much about getting the most out of it..just wanted to welcome you to DH

I bet that's cool....here's my deal I live on a very tight budget, so I had to save $$$ when planning this (peicemeal) build which is:
AMD 5200+
Biostar 570sli mainboard
2 x 9600gso (asus oc'd)
kingwin sli psu
sata 2 hard drive
corsair xms 2 (4-4-4-12)
hdtv via hdmi (adapter)
nemeroius case fans for decent airflow
so I actually get decent performance in most games...believe it or not I can even play @ 1920x1080 on just about any current game(as long as I don't apply aa) 1600x900 jams with aa on every game I have tried so far (yes that included crysis)
anyways I was just wonderting if there are any good utilities you might be familiar with to just make it more transparrent....I often have to reboot when changing the sli focus display, and I want to oc some, but with sli I am not sure how the system would concerning timing (my board has 3 presets for oc), but I have experienced some issues.....mostly resolved @ this point
just any good general tips/knowledge would be coool
btw- I am aware my system is way behind the times, but it's all I can afford right now, and I'd like to think I can still make due for a yr or more....I don't expect every new game to deliver screaming performance @ very high res/settings, but I have had very good results with both above mentioned modes (so far)
