sli screen tearing at higher resolutions

Noticed that with two 8600 gt 512 running in sli i get screen tearing at 1680 by 1050.

Now at 1280 by 1024 with vsync on everything is perfectly fine.

Doing this on a system with 4 gigs dual core acer al2216w. (using sli bridge)

I have noticed that if i have bioshock going and i select a different resolution but then cancel it before the count down all is fine then at 1680 by 1050.

Iam guessing this is a driver issue(175.19).

Anyone else seen this or find away around this issue?

System Specs

It sounds to me that you are just having a driver issue. have you tried running each card seperately? If you do that you may be able to identify a bad card. Most likely the driver is the issue though.

Downloaded nhancer and poof most of the tearing went away except for halo 2 and i can mess around to figure that one out.

From what i understand nvidia control panel is messed up when it comes to settings for sli.

i've never heard of this program before, does it improve SLI usability at all?

Alot of features and profiles tested by others that get games going .

Not sure how to set fear up..well it has a profile for that with someone else having done all the testing.
