Evga Step Up 9800gx2-->gtx 280
I've read a few reviews, and to say the least I have mixed feelings. I'm eligible for this Step Up (k, side step) from EVGA.
Here is the card I have now:
EVGA | Products
Here is the card they're offering me:
EVGA | Products
Odd this is I don't understand why they're not doing any of the slightly faster cards since I would be willing to pay the difference.
I have 22 days left to decide. What would you do?

its a single GPU and is a HELL of alot faster than any Dual GPU solution, bing a single GPU makes it even more appealing.

Yeah I think I'm going to go for it after doing some more research last night. It seems w/ my setup & monitor over all it'll be a smoother experience. Just waiting on them to reply to me w/ the go ahead. Thanks for the responses.

Well decided I couldn't stand having no main PC for that length of time. So I went and splurged a bit & bought myself a 4850 to play /w.

So far very well, though was quite interesting trying to get the best drivers for it. I have the hotfix drivers installed right now.
Update: Wow this little 4850 has increased my CPU temps by 3c.

I know that. The point is you spent 200 dollars (unless you got it hell'a cheaper) on something to pass time with.
The second point is I'm jealous

Wow, that says a lot for EVGA really taking care of their customers - should be a tremendous upgrade - you gotta be excited! What a wonderful thing for your friend too!
Oh, BTW, are you liking your new hard drive?

Yeah I seen that, but my card is still in route to them so I'll be eligible for the refund.
