hello some info and help please

i want to upgrade my video card soon but i have this questions hope you guys can help me

my system use a PCI-express 1.0 and many of the new cards use the 2.0
like 9800GX2 so im wonder if i can still sue this card in my system?

intel P4 3
4gb ram

anotehr question i read that in june another generation of video cards are coming up. is that the truth? and can you guys point some info to me?

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

For Pentium 4 the 9xxx series from nVidia is a bit over kill since the CPU cant feed data to the CPU fast enough.

What is your current card????

I think that the 7xxx series are good. Cards better than those might have issues with your CPU's speed to send data trough it.
