A Big THANK YOU to the omega driver dude
I've got a weedy little 7300GS, and my wife has continually had lockup issues with her games. I also recently have been trying out some betas and trials of various 3d software packages, 2 of which caused HARD lockups!
 I installed the Omega Drivers for Nvidia after running driver cleaner, and the lockups have disappeared. Before it would just lockup, now, I can actually hear the card fan rev up, and the system just keeps chugging!  Oh, and the display is definitely faster and the framerate more even in Moi3d! We'll see how my wife's game does next. Keep up the good work! |
