With all the probs i've had with my xfx 8800 ultra xxx i've not really looked into another problem thats bothering me with it...........which is.........
If the computer is powered on
before the monitor then it will never show a picture / detect a signal. This result in windows loading fine - but all I get is a blank screen.
I've tried "auto detect" "switch source" & restarting the monitor but it never works. To get A picture I then have to reset he pc - then the monitor detects a signal.
It is connected via DVI and the monitor in A samsung 215tw.
I have tried it with an Ati 1900xt on the same system and that
doesn't have this problem.
Does anyone know anything about this ? Is it card or driver related ?
