yeah they are raw FRAPS files, so if they don't play just install fraps to get the codec. they are resized to half size via FRAPS from 1920 as they would be massive (they are already very big).
Here is another video I made which might interest people.

well i figured compressing them would lose the fine level of detail, which is the whole point of the demo in the first place.
get a faster net connection

no offense but XvId, and DIVX and all these codecs are lossy quality, just like jpeg is a lossy quality picture format - regardless of the quality setting you use - they analyse the image and render specific pixel x by x box sections and place compression across the gamut and pixels (frequently rendering similar colours into one "block". The purposes of these videos are to use pure direct signal conversion on a pixel by pixel basis so people can ascertain the image quality as well as texture effects (such a bump mapping and specular lighting). So yes xvid etc are fine for the majority of things, but not what I had intended with this. After all if what you are saying is logically true, why aren't people watching 1-2 GB XVID Movie rips on their 52inch TV's rather than 30-40GB pure uncompressed HD-DVD or Bluray movies?
I have worked 20 years in the industry so before you sound like an ass in forums using "angry" smilies best researching what you are talking about rather than linking to the home page of another site.
