If you buy right now you could get 2 or 3 builds from a good PSU.
I agree. To the hell 1000W it is .

No, I can't got that far. The OCZ is so tempting but after reading all these problems...hmmm. The hiper is slagged of..God damn. It would be better if you could find it on:

As that's where I will buy the PC (If I do buy it). They have a decent choice - but unfortunatly not much around the 700W range (either less or more). If you quickly browse through you will see what I mean.

Sliding off topic a bit. But I noticed you have a G15 keyboard...me too! How is it on windows Vista? Do the 64bit XP drivers work ok? Because I've heard all sorts of probs with the LCD etc - whats it like?

No probs at all with the G15 and Vista, exactly the same functions and applications as XP. Oh and your right the selection on that website aint to hot, have you tried other suppliers ie Overclockers/Microdirect etc?

Where abouts in the uk are you, if you don't want to post it you can PM me.

I live in Derby. Glad to hear the g15 is good to go.

Ive looked at overclockers - seems the best choice.

Might be worth checking Microdirect too, I recently built my current build and ordered from both 50/50 depending on who had what on offer, I saved about £120 shopping around.
BTW OCUK have the 8800GTS for £199 at the moment, thats a hell of a saving, you could pair 2 of those for about the same as a GTX. They are one hell of a card.
Also as mentioned above make sure you read up on your chipset choice as those new Nvidia's seem to have a huuuge number of bugs.
Final thing, overclockers is only about 30 mile from derby isnt it? Sure OC is in stoke, im sure if you turned up at the store and bought a few bits they'd do you a discount.

Anyway keep us informed of your choices and progress, oh and any more questions fire-away.
