Nvidia Geforce FXGO5700

Hi,
Just wondering if someone out there can help me.
My notebook, Toshiba P20 with NVidia Geforce FXGo 5700 suddenly doesn't work, and during start up there are many blue lines on the screen and after displaying winXp logo, it goes blank (black) and nothing happen.

Tried on safe mode, start up is ok, and I tried to uninstall the display driver, and re-install it but it seems the machine doesn't recognise Nvidia Graphic card but says that "New Hardware found, VGA Compatible" . However if I install the driver with NVidia, it will install it but when I restart it, it will stop after displaying the winXp logo.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help.
Thanks
Andy

Lines on the screen at startup usually aren't a good sign at all. It can mean a dead graphics card, and since Toshiba doesn't really do replaceable graphics cards, I'd say you're in trouble.
