NVIDIA® GeForce®4™ MX graphics (1 AGP 8x slot available)!!! PROBLEM !!!!

Hi,

I recently have been playing counter strike 1.6 using steam. I installed counterstrike source and it would load but in a pink screen. Then i tried up update my video card's driver but i installed the wrong one so i had to use safe mode in order to see my desktop. I downloaded a driver and everything works fine but now not even my old game works.

My question is this, What driver should i download for my video car? It is the:

NVIDIA® GeForce®4™ MX graphics (1 AGP 8x slot available)

The pc feels laggy and wierd but everything is ok now except the games. I believe i still have the wrong driver installed.

Please help me! pm me post under this thread whatever but please! what should i do? besides buying a new vid car... which isn't an financial option.

I'd say get a driver version of 6x.xx or earlier. Try something like Omega's last nVidia set (69.33, IIRC?). You can get it off of DriverHeavenDownloads.net, I believe.

I will def. try it thanks, Ill keep this thread updated to see what happens... I just tried reinstalling the game and all the setups in steam video mode and all and nothing it will only play in software mode..
