Vista and my GeForce Go 6200!!!

Ok so over the last few weeks i have been trying the beta versions of windows vista.

and every version that comes out theres alwasy another problem
eg.

Beta 2: It thought my graphic card was 32mb when its 128mb

RC1: Working with glass but not perfect (video wont play) & (media center is f#!*ed up)

RC2: Was like going back in time my resolution was now 1024x768 when it should be 1280 it seemed that glass had not been invented so it was SHIT.

Please you have no idea how much it would mean (just help me out) im dying here!

I have a
Sony VAIO notebook
1.73GHz centreno
Nvidia graphic GeForce Go 6200 card 128mb

HELP ME PLEASE

I'm not exactly sure how Vista works, so I can't really help you, but you may have some more luck in the Vista section of the forum...

Sony with Geforce Go 6200

I had the very same problems for almost a month now on my Sony vaio FS-Geforce Go 6200(128mb) on wwindow vista RC2 (5744) .....first the sound, the resolution, touchpad, the aero theme and damn!...the fn key!!

An hour ago, I went through articles and problem solving and downloaded nvidia driver 91.28 (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9808&st=0) and I now have 1280 resolution, but 91.28 but not as stable, or I might had not install it correctly the first time. I got aero theme ONLY when I connect my vaio to secondary external LCD...as dual screen at my office, it just works without any problem.

But when I work with my stand alone vaio...I cannot find aero theme exist and resolutionrun back to 1028 again...and so was the aero theme!!!

But as far as now I'm concern...
.....this get rid of the VGA disable notification balloon that never seem to go away. That ... does piss me off. Anyway try my solution ... based on above forum

Is there anyone who had similar vaio spec as we do, while feeling awesome about the features of this RC2? Please share us your advices!!

Similar problem

I have a sony viaio vgn-s460 and im running vista beta 2. I also have a geforce 6200 and i get a problem where it seems everything lags on my computer for a split second every 5 seconds. I am almost sure its becasue of incompatible video drivers. If anyone of you know where i can get some that work that would be awsome, becasue i dont like these feezes. I have tried downloading every nvidea driver for vista to date, and none will even install on my computer. Please help.
