So what's the best driver?

Hi there.
Could someone please help me out here if possible...
I have a Dell Inspiron 5160 laptop with a Geforce FX Go5200 64mb graphics card. Have recently downloaded and installed the Omega 66.93 driver. At first everything seemed fine, plays quake2 and Kingpin brilliantly. First time I fired fifa 07 up it was fine, ran better than my last driver setup, but now theres lots of 'tearing' in the graphics and it flashes really fast. The screen also blacks out for a few seconds everytime on bootup to XP, so I take it these arn't the drivers for me?
Just wondering what drivers would work best for my card?

If anyone knows the winning formula please reply to this thread.

Thankyou for your help.
Gareth.

Michael Schumacher, but he quit...

Oh well, seriously, I suppose you should try 0,9291 Zeropoint drivers. They are the newest.

hahah very funny, that tickled me

Thanks for the reply Grace. So those drivers would work on my card yes? Shouldn't I try any of the ForceWare drivers from that website?

Well I tried that driver and it worked!!! It ran all the games nicely, even fifa 07.
1 little problem though, which im not at all sure how to put this right? Was testing the driver with fifa 07 and came out of game back to desktop and most of my icons on the system have changed, as if they're not installed. (the white icon) But can still access the programs, very strange!

Oh, that's not a driver problem, it's a game coding problem. It occassionally happens. Just right click anywhere on the desktop and hit refresh, it should fix it instantly.
