Smilie Hi All :) , I need some help please...

I dicided to upgrade my computer system for it to be more of a gaming station.
Now i have a Pentium 4 HT 3Ghz Processor and 1 GB DDR 400Mhz + Nvidia FX5300 128MB.
I thinking of adding another 1GB DDR 400Mhz and 2GB DDR2 533Mhz to my additional slots, However i still cant decide which graphic card i should upgrade to.
i tought about the 7600GT 256MB Or The 6800GS 256MB ,which one will give better me preformans? the price is almost the same but i can't understand which is more sutible for my system to be?

thank u all!

Alex

well for starters you need to list the rest of your system... giving details like model numbes and all.
What psu do you have? and what is is rated at?
what mobo do you have?

The 7600GT would be the better choice for the gfx card.

The RAM situation is a bit messy....
1. how many slots do you have? What kind of RAM do the DIMMs support?
2. does your mobo support both DDR and DDR2?
3. if it supports both DDR and DDR2, I doubt it supports both at the same time.
4. What OS are you using? most OS don't support more than 3Gb so anything more is a waste of $
