Omega drivers or Nvidia's HELP!

I tried 81.98 Nvidia drivers and the latest 84.21 .When I play dreamfall on high settings after about 2-5 minutes of playing my screen shows these wierd colors my whole screen goes black and I have to reboot,this constantly happend.Then I download Omega drivers and it works perfectly I have been playing for 3 hours on and off.Im thinking of keeping the Omega drivers.Are they any good or I should roll back to the real nvidia drivers, after I beat Dreamfall? The nivida drivers work good with all other games.Are OMEGA DRIVERS BETTER THEN NVIDIA'S?

Specs are

AMD Fx 53
BFG 6800GT 256mb
2gigs of ram

Omega drivers are fine. They used to be updated much more than they currently are. I've used them on ATI cards with good results, but never tried them on an Nvidia card.

you could try a reflash of the card BIOS... might clear things up some

Omega's latest drivers are waaaaaay older than the newer drivers, so I'd say the newer drivers would probably do some good with game compatibility fixes and such.
But did you use DriverCleaner Pro before installing any driver set? Make sure you do that. And try some other sets like the DHzp 0.8443 set... See how you like 'em.

i tried it and it SUCKED
even older games had more artifacts , screen flickering
may be its only the ATi versions that r good

Exactly. Stick with nVidia's latest.
