Video Card - Fan not Spinning

My Video Cards Fan stopped spinning and now hwen i play games i get temp of 127+ and 80+ when not playng games. I turned my comp of and cleaned the fan then turned my comp on, and the fan was Twitching going forwards and backwards, but not spinning. After 30 mins it stopped twitching and is dead agian.

What could be wrong with it?

The fan is probably finally dead. I would recommend getting a new fan unit for it. Aftermarket coolers are always nice.

No, that fan sounds like its pretty much dead. Do you have an AGP card or a PCIe card? I know that you can get an NV Silencer for the PCIe card, but I'm not too sure about the AGP card. Also, Zalman coolers are always nice and so is the Vantec Iceberq 5 (or maybe its 4?)

AGP so it doesnt sound easy to find the right fit for it. I'l look for fans that will work but not sure

Yeah, look for something like a Zalman cooler, those work well on the 6600GT AGP versions and many other cards.

System Specs

try some of these:

vantec iceberg 5 all-in-one

Zalman Fatality FS-V7

those are the only two vga coolers i found that were compatible w/the AGP version of the 6600GT.

of the two, i'd take the zalman even if it is a bit more expensive
