GF 6600GT - Lock-Ups

Hi there!
I bought a new video card today. A GeForce 6600GT. But I have the same Lock-Ups as with my old Radeon 9600XT.
I don't know, what to do. I tried old Nvidia drivers and old VIA Drivers and I tried FastWrites turning off and on. Nothing helps. Please help me!

Are you sure your PSU is sufficient? I know it says 550W, but that's only what the manufacturers claim it can do...
And also, have you made sure your power is plugged in all the way and have you tried using different power leads?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure, but I will check later.

I tried. The same as always.

Okay, did you make sure you cleaned out your ATi drivers before installing your nVidia drivers with DriverCleaner Pro? It would also probably do some good to uninstall all of your motherboard/video drivers and use DriverCleaner Pro to give everything a good wiping, and then you can install your chipset drivers from there and then your video drivers.

Okay, forget it.
I did a big 'test'. I replaced all my Hardware (except my video card) with that of my brother. It started to work as I replaced the Motherboard. I will bring back the 6600GT and now I'm using my 9600XT.
