DH Competition: Win a EVGA e-GeForce 7800GS CO SuperClock™ (256-A8-N509-AX)
Everyone knows we hold some of the best competition prizes on the net so here we are again with our newest giveaway. Are you an AGP user and feeling sadly neglected? Well then today is your lucky day, we have a spanking new EVGA e-GeForce 7800GS CO SuperClock™ video card to give away to a lucky reader on Driverheaven.
The big daddy of EVGA’s GS lineup is this card, the e-GeForce 7800 GS CO Superclock. The Superclock board ships with the highest clock speeds that have been announced to date for a GeForce 7800 GS card, as EVGA clocks the graphics core at 460MHz, that’s 85MHz over stock, and the board’s memory runs at 675MHz, 75MHz above the standard GeForce 7800 GS AGP card. These changes increase fill-rate by nearly 20% (to 7360 Mtexels/sec) while memory bandwidth improves by 11% (to 43.2GB/sec). Unfortunately due to a huge backlog of hardware to review we have not gotten around to reviewing this card (hopefully we might soon) but those kind folks at EVGA have been exceptionally generous in donating one of these babies for a competition today.
Entry is simple, just post in this thread "EVGA e-GeForce 7800GS CO SuperClock™ is too sexy for my machine", and one winner will be drawn at random sometime near the end of March - the more times you enter the higher percentage you have of being picked! You dont need to have a specific post count to enter, and you can enter as many times as you want, the only (and rather obvious stipulation) is you will need to be a member on the forum. staff can also enter apart from the administration staff, so we dont have claims of foul play. Please be aware those of you attempting to use scripts to CHEAT and post within forum limits in the attempt to win this competition will be removed from the site. Also please be aware those who are using scripting in a not so obvious manner will also NOT win, when a winner is picked at the end of the competition all his/her posts will be analysed to eliminate any form of cheating ...
So good luck entering, it may be the kick up the ass your old AGP system needs!
