With the success of GeForce 6 series, NVIDIA is determined that their new breed graphics card will take the PC computing scene to another level. Thanks to the SLI (Scalable Link Interface) implemented throughout the GeForce 6 series, PC gaming has never been the same before. Basically SLI allows users to install dual graphics card in a single system which results double in 3D graphics performance. Our previous reviews on NVIDIA’s 6800 Ultra, 6800GT, 6600GT and 6200 series shows a trend that NVIDIA is a leader in the PC graphics card scene. However, due to strong competition from ATI, NVIDIA is determined to grab the throne once again with their much anticipated G70 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). Ultimately, NVIDIA launched the state of the art graphics card series dubbed GeForce 7 series. At the time of this review, there are two GeForce 7800 series graphics card by NVIDIA, mainly the 7800GTX and the newer 7800GT graphics card. Taking the SLI capabilities into full swing, the GeForce 7800 series have a much improved SLI interface that is expected to deliver outstanding performance.
