Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines unofficial retail patch v1.4
"There is an unofficial retail patch for Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines to upgrade the first-person action role-playing game by now-defunct Troika Games to version 1.4. This update applies a huge number of gameplay corrections and other bug fixes, but it's an unsupported, third-party patch so your mileage may vary."

I wonder if this patch fixes those bugs. I wasn't even aware the company that created the game when under. I've heard the game is fun, never got a chance to play it, used to love the books/game though.

seems they mighta been tryin to start the "ive got source" bandwagon
the game sparked my interest when i 1st heard of it , then it was released and i head of the buggyness, then i remembered me tryin to ramble through the bugyness on Bloodlines, the story was cool and such, but the AI was horible and my party members never followed the formation and attack settings u set 4 them. when dis is like $10 to 20 dollar game i wouldnt mind peepin it out

I am liking this trend, which this bit of news shows a perfect example of. Third parties are taking matters into their own hands regarding hardware/software needing attention, not provided from the vendors. I hope to see more of the community say, forget you so and so, I am not waiting for you to release a fix or add a feature anymore. I'll just go into your code and do it myself.
Personally, I have been hounding Valve for months to add triple buffering to the Source games. Well, never even a response back to myself and others other then, yeah we need to add it, months ago. So now I go to ATI Tray Tools and add it myself, thanks to the 3rd party being Mr. Ray Adams.

I liked what I played of it.
The idea of a GTA style game with Source style physics is quit intriguing
Maybe Activision should take note and put out another True Crime game *crosses fingers*

I've beaten it two times with different families.
It would have taken two weeks to ferret out all the bugs I saw beating it two different ways. There is no way they didin't notice them. GoGo publisher green light. Pity activision is not the pillar of gaming they used to be.
Exelent that users are patching games now, however this patch does not address some things I noticed. I guess I'll e-mail the author. Might be time to give bloodlines another go.
