Yes!!! You are missing something.
Changes:
1. Comepletely re-designed Look & feel to the Whole suite.
2. Enhanced Security has been added to outlook 11 to try and stop
virus infection as well as limited spam filtering ability.
3. Many more to come.

enhanced ms security...only 3 viruses a week...they can't sell enough copies of xp office NOW because the market is saturated and there are better bargains. If you want bloatware get openoffice, if you want a good and very compatible freeware alternative to word there's abiword, office 602 is more than enough for most folks, again free...good, compatible office alternatives are out there...I say, "take product activation and shove it up your billy gates" but then I use linux 90+ percent of the time anyway

as an "official" whowheee MS beta tester it never ceases to amaze me how people are soooo anxious to get a buggy early beta of a system that we know will be buggy in the rtm build...MS uses you folks as unofficial tester in my view...early betas are ALWAYS easy to get...as they get close to release they tighten things up (remember no serial checks in the early xp sp1 betas?)...you're being used! wise up! and how many of you use all the features in MS's major bloatware product???

Since it is so easy to get I assume you could if you wanted to. Along with your personal serialnumber. As far as I know there is no way around the activationprocess in v11 yet. I'm guessing you're not using any MS software, that way we're all happy
Now for some useful info at the end. The Hotmail integration in Outlook11 is faster/smooter than the old version.

Activation for O11 has been bypassed quick'n'dirty, and a more elegant solution is in the works.
