MonsterGecko's PistolMouse: More Freedom, More Frags
MonsterGecko LLC might not be a familiar name to you. The Palo Alto, California company was founded in 2003 when co-founder Jeff Ma was looking for a better controller for his games. With the collaboration of co-founder Ain McKendrick and a few more on their team, the PistolMouse FPS was born. Designed around user comfort during long periods of gameplay, the PistolMouse FPS is not a light gun like those in the days of games like Nintendo's Hogan's Alley. It is more like a scroll mouse housed inside of a pistol. It has a sensor that scans the surface on which it rests like a traditional optical mouse. tomshardware

unless they come up with a real working gun that allows you to move with forward with foot pedals, and aim with an actual gun, i dont think i would ever want one.
would be real fun to get one like that in rifle form, the 13' monitor in one one the previous articles, and be able to sit back about 20-30 feet from the monitor and just start picking off enemies with it.

Yeah, it seems like left handed people get the shaft when it comes to things like this, even when it comes to many top end mice.
The only way you will know if you like it or not is to try it, I think the company should concentrate on retails stores like BestBuy and make sure those stores always have one set up for peole to try. Then if they like it they can go try to find the best price on-line (if they want to buy on-line).
I'd go try it out if I could.

You aren't kidding. Logitech has a specific area on their website saying that they have no desire to design mouses for 'niche' markets like the left-handed market. If microsoft came out with a left handed mouse I'd switch companies in an instant. At least they still produce the unihand mice that us lefties can use.
Can't anyone produce a high quality lefty mouse on par with what righties are getting from logitech and microsoft?

Doesn't look like that mouse got good reviews. The review even goes as far to say that the side buttons are unusable because they move the mouse when you try and use them. It's still a unihand mouse.

Might be interesting to try for games but I would really feel and probably look like a knob using to surf the web or while working on something like a word document.
