Rockstar has responded to the leak with the following statement: "Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software are aware that an illegally obtained version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and images from the game and manual have been posted to various sites."

"The proper authorities are investigating the theft and are continuing to investigate all possible leads to ensure there is no further dissemination of our creative content. Downloading, possession and distribution of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, including making the game available on the Internet, is theft."

OK, so let's see here. How about the game companies stop with this nonsense of trying to threaten the public. Let's think about this... the game has to be leaked either (a) from a developer or (b) from the company that they use to manufacture the disc. How about going after your own people since it is their fault the game has leaked.

Percy, you took the words right out of my mouth. They said there were illegally obtained scans of the manual which tells us someone had the actual manufactured copy. It isn't anyone else's fault it was leaked except for those in possession of the original discs. I think many of these companies need to take a good, hard look at whom they are paying to manufacter their game discs.
