Metal Gear Solid 3 site offers glimpse at characters
Konami Japan's official Web site for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has been updated with a set of new character images (see our updated screenshot gallery).
These images include confirmed characters like the superspy Snake, the scientist Sokolov, and the Russian double agent Ocelot. However, the site also features images of new characters labeled as "Cobra units," along with Eva and Volgin, who have appeared in previously released trailers.
The site offers no information on these characters other than names written next to their pictures. Presumably, more information on the game will be released soon, especially considering the fact that the official site has a link labeled "TGS 2004" which contains a cryptic letter from Konami designer Hideo Kojima.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is currently scheduled for release this year. Stay tuned to GameSpot for future details on the game, and check GameSpot's coverage of Tokyo Game Show 2004 for more updates from the event.

Looks very interesting. I wonder how MGS 3 will tie in with the current MGS story line. Leave it to Konami to come up with something different instead of just a direct (and obvious, at least on the surface) sequel to MGS 3.
I wonder if this is our good friend Revolver Ocelot.

Ocelot is not using roscoe.
haha...the snake in MGS3 is the son of snake in MGS1 and MGS2, no, the third snake in 1960s.

yea i read the leak document months ago everyone thought it was fake
it basically did spoil the characters backrounds. the names are really weak this time with everyone having names starting with THE in this cobra unit, but it looks pretty interesting with these characters, sure it be just as fun as FOXHOUND and Dead Cell.

The camo system is freaking awesome, but in real life I think that he would be spotted pretty easily in some of the instances where he was being looked at and the computer did not see him. I think that this will be a nice game to add to my ps2 collection.

Camo system is awesome. But some of the stuff is unrealistic, while others are spot on. It's a must have for the PS2, but I'm waiting for the PC version

The Cobra unit looks very interesting. I'm DYING to find out the story line behind this game and see how it ties in to the current story.
