EPoX Set to Unveil New NVIDIA nForce3, VIA KT880 Mainboards
A company whose mainboards are very popular among users of AMD processors – EpoX – recently said it would add a number of new advanced SKUs for AMD’s 64-bit and 32-bit chips into its lineup. The firm will use NVIDIA nForce3 and nForce2 core-logic products as well as VIA’s KT880.
The family of nForce3-based mainboards will include variety of platform products based on NVIDIA nForce3 150, NVIDIA nForce3 250 and NVIDIA nForce3 250Gb chips. Three new mainboards will come as noticeable expansion of AMD64 intended SKUs. The list of VIA KT880-based products will consist of three offerings to complement existing lineup designed for different AMD Athlon XP processors. All new products are said to appear already this quarter, as EPoX already discusses their features with its customers.
