Front page poll: hardware reviewing - which site?

Our last Christmas front page poll is over, with the majority of people voting for the desire to get an ATI 9800 XT in their Christmas stocking, very interesting to see in second place - world peace !

Anyway, this time its your chance to vote for one of the three largest tech sites on the net - Do you like Anandtech the most for their detailed and unbiased reviewing style? Or does it go to Kyle's Hardocp, with their distinctive highly opinionated style winning your vote? or lastly what about Tomshardware ..... does their quality of reviewing with frequent video downloads appeal to you?

You need to add, "Other"... Because neither of those sites I would care to read a review. So for those who don't like either of those. What option are se supposed to choose? :-)

My vote goes to Anandtech~! If I had a second chance to vote..it'd go to Toms Hardware. I don't like HardOCP cuz it's not pretty like the two of them.

any educated person would check multiple sites anyways.

honestly, its quite flattering im reading debate on OUR POLLS especially on other sites !!!

but the whole purpose of the poll is to see how our members and visitors RATE the three BIG sites for quality of reviewing.

its not a "which site do you ONLY visit?", its not a "which site is better than the others?", its a quality of reviewing question.

Ive been having a right old chuckle at this and how serious people take it all, especially hanners and craig588s response elitebastards

I never said that, I just said your opinion makes no sense - just like comparing a lighthearted poll on three reviewing sites to forms of cancer makes little sense to me, once comments like that start making sense, ill close the site and open a brothel or something more fulfilling for me

Well out of respect for the thread starter I won't vote the site I frequent the most for tech news(DH)

I always thought Tom's Hardware did a pretty thorough job on reviews and such

Hmm- what happened to the poll? Last I saw anand was winning by a long shot- I think they all do a pretty good job, well, 2 of them do great, and one does pretty good I should say Anand's site seems to be the one I respect the most, if that makes any sense- they seem to go into more detail and I think I've learned the most and had the best experience at that site. [H] is close if not even, but Tom's is a distant third in my opinion. Too bad we couldn't get some more pollster's opinions, with more time-

I thought it was a great poll. Was it too controversial or something? Too many people pised off about the results? After all it's just the general public's opinions.

it was an interesting poll, ill do one similar in the new year, but its causing too much nonsense talk atm which I cant be arsed dealing with as im in the mood for partying

so ive went for a stupid one for xmas. In the new year ill be more in the mood for deailing with over excitable geeks

Looking forward to the new poll. I think input on DH members views on other sites besides our own was a great idea. Lets hope the next poll is taken with a bit more thought and consideration.
Does anyone wonder why Z doesn't start threads asking members for questions for interviews anymore ???

I just come to DH for news. I figure if there is a review or new piece of hardware out, DH will have the news bit and a link to whatever site has the info. I have a VERY small circle of sites that I frequent, DH is one, obviously.
