Diablo 1.10 patch official release
The long awaited patch for Diablo-2 LOD has finally been released. Of course it was released on October 28th and somehow few people noticed it.
Yes, you're reading correctly, the day has finally come for the Diablo II 1.10 patch! This patch is our largest to date in terms of game changes and offers many new things for Diablo II players, including seasonal ladder characters, more-challenging gameplay, enhanced skills, new items, new anti-cheat measures, a new game-world event, and much much more! This would not have been possible without the support of a great gaming community and the dedication and hard work of some very talented people. We would like to thank you for helping us beta test the 1.10 patch and for your patience while this patch was completed. Big thanks also to the “Hell Day Testers,” fan sites, and forums for all the great feedback. We hope you enjoy this special upgrade to Diablo II.
Simply connect to Battle.net to download the patch. We will post the standalone version on our FTP site as soon as it's available.
Players of Hardcore characters in Hell difficulty games should note that a new, extremely challenging world-event has been added in Diablo II version 1.10. If you value your Hardcore character's life, be even more cautious when encountering Superunique monsters, and be prepared to execute a hasty Save and Exit if your situation seems too dangerous.
Download via the Diablo-2 game or from Blizzard

Well I found it boring as well but this new patch is supposed to change the game dramatically. You will have to read what it does. But some skills boost other skills. The Necromancer will actually be good again after being nerfed in 1.08. I picked up the game again cheap just to give it a go.

er, the necro owned in 1.09. Especiailly with a voodoo 5 6000. I could lag outy everyone in a game, then my friend would stategicly place items so the people would get popped.
Maybe he sucked for PVM, but for PVP he was the greatest.

I actually started playing it again because of all the changes introduced in this patch, now I had to change the way I distributed skills for my Paladin, the changes so far are GOOD...

That is not what I meant by the Necromancer being good. I mean the necromancer when I first started owned in PvP. Everyone stayed away from the Necromancer.
What you did was ruin the game and are one of the reasons I quit playing back when I did.

1. you could have done it to other people to get back at them.
2. you didnt need to stay in the game
3. you can download popping protection programs
4. thats how I have fun, games are supposed to be fun.

I am not going to argue with you. The simple point is that what you were doing was use an exploit that wasn't meant to be there, hence you were cheating to screw people out of their items.
Downloading OTHER programs to prevent something that you were NOT supposed to be doing in the first place violates Blizzard's agreement.

exactly. crap like that is why i never played it on the internet. if you can not win with what the game intended, then you got no business ruining it for others.
