TerraTec launches its external Aureon 5.1 USB laptop and PC sound card

sound.

The cigarette box sized Aureon 5.1 USB features genuine surround sound over 5.1 channels (with 6 analog outputs and 2 inputs), gold-plated connections, digital inputs/outputs, a microphone input and headphone output, as well as the professional sound quality that audiophiles have come to expect from a TerraTec audio card.

The Aureon 5.1 USB utilises plug-and-play technology, eradicating the traditional complicated installation and configuration required when fitting a new card to a home PC. The compact unit also supports all current sound standards such as Dolby Digital, AC3, DTS, and Dolby Pro-Logic II, whilst the bundled DVD player software turns laptops into home theatre systems, with real 3D sound.
