Samsung Electronics has selected a software package provided by Taiwan-based Ulead Systems to bundle with Samsung’s lineup of camcorders worldwide, according to a press release from Ulead today.
The package provided by Ulead, a developer of digital video, image, 3D animation, and DVD authoring applications, includes the Ulead VideoStudio SE DVD and Photo Express SE and together they endow Samsung camcorder users with richer video and image editing features and a more intuitive user interface, Ulead said.
With the software, camcorder users can maximize their creativity by enhancing still images, trimming and organizing video clips, adding a soundtrack and voice narration, special effects, titles and texts, making tiled or multiple printouts, creating thumbnail index sheets and CD covers, or doing fun print projects on special paper, T-shirts and posters. In addition, the software provides unique real-time preview and output technology that enables users to view changes instantly, and therefore save the time wasted on rendering.
VideoStudio SE DVD supports MPEG 1, MPEG2, and MPEG 4 (WMV, DivX) format and allows users to share videos with family and friends on DVD, VCD, SVCD, e-mail or Web, while Photo Express SE enables users to browse popular audio and video formats including MP3, MPEG, AVI, WAV and MID.
