Creative Launches state of the art I-Trigue L3450 & L3500
Striking appearance, dual amplification, titanium microdrivers and Lateral Firing Transducers make these systems the ultimate expression of excellence
Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet, announces its two new premier 2.1 speaker systems, the I-Trigue L3450 and I-Trigue L3500. Slender and sophisticated, these new solutions will add further to the reputation of the I-Trigue speaker family. Both speakers will cost £149.99 incl. VAT and will be available from August.
"Each system offers users a style to suit their needs, incorporating our latest and most innovative thinking," explains Leonardo Colucci, European brand manager for speakers with Creative.
Ground-breaking technology
Perhaps the most notable technical feature of these two new systems is the use of side-mounted Lateral Firing Transducers in the satellites. Designed to smooth the gap between high and mid frequencies, these innovative acoustic projectors add depth and balance to the overall ‘sound picture’ to give listeners more realistic audio that remains true to hi-fi principles.
Creative has also deployed bi-amplification. This hi-fi technique ensures optimum performance in specific frequency ranges and more accurate sound reproduction. Allied to this, each speaker features two front-facing titanium microdrivers that deliver stunningly precise detail and clarity. Together with the Lateral Firing Transducers, the overall result sets a new benchmark, outperforming other speakers that use paper or aluminium drivers and delivering a wider soundstage for a richer listening experience.
Striking design
"Although both speakers are built using this advanced technology, they could hardly be more distinctive in appeal," comments Leonardo Colucci.
The Creative I-Trigue L3500 comes in deep, rich silver and black and a strong ‘sculpted’ look. It’s the ideal complement to any desktop environment. The Creative I-Trigue L3450 comes in a cool, white finish with natural, flowing curves, looks great with a flat panel monitor or notebook PC, and makes a perfect partner for the Creative Jukebox Zen or other personal stereo systems.
Usability
As well as sophisticated style, these systems also have sophisticated user features. The feature-rich remote incorporates an auxiliary line-in and stereo headphone connector as well as controls for volume, power and bass. It also features Creative’s new M-PORT connector, which can be used with compatible Creative MuVo personal digital audio players, giving a direct connection for instant playback.
