WinPE builder 2.0 beta

Bart released winPE builder 2.02 beta. This tool is similar to Microsoft winPE (Windows Pre-installation Environment) which is not widely available (OEM and Select partners). Bart's PE builder is easy custumisable with extra tools!

WinPE) is a minimal operating system based on the Windows XP kernel. It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burnin testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on.

I can't say I was impressed with WinPE - basically, you boot into WindowsXP from a CD, but then never get to run explorer.exe, but have to use a command line to do any backups/restores/whatever. Better than a floppy with fdisk, though, I must admit that much.
