New Beta Test for XBox Live and AOL Broadband Users
"Dear Beta tester,
We are now recruiting Beta testers for a new software program which will allow you to play games online with your XBox Live via your AOL Broadband connection!
This Beta test is only open to AOL Broadband members with an XBox Live console. Please ensure you meet the requirements to participate in this Beta test before completing the application form at AOL Keyword: XBox Beta.
Requirements
PC Requirements: AOL 8.0 version 4129.673a, Windows 2000 or XP, USB ADSL Modem, Internet Connection Sharing, Free Ethernet Port
XBox Requirements: XBox Live Console and Controller, XBox Live Subscription, XBox Live Demo Disk, Ethernet Cross Over Cable.
To participate in this Beta test, you will need to download a new version of AOL 8.0, 4129.673a. This should take approximately 20 minutes over a broadband connection. Once you have completed the application process, you will be presented with a form to download 4129.673a. Please download this software and use it as your version of AOL until the Beta test begins in the coming weeks.
