Konami has released a small patch for their third-person horror action adventure game, Silent Hill 2, addressing "missing text and/or missing videos on NVIDIA GeForce FX cards."

Silent Hill 2 GeForce FX fix:
This update is used to address missing text and/or missing videos on nVIDIA GeForce FX cards. Mobile chipsets are not included.
How to install:
Extract the file, “device.fix” to the root of the Silent Hill 2 program folder (C:\Program Files\Konami\Silent Hill 2, by default). You may overwrite the existing “device.fix” file if prompted.
