Global Warzone v3.8 Alpha & Patch v3.81

The centauri Mod Development team has also released their Contest Alpha of Global Warzone for 'Make Something Unreal'. Global Warzone is a total conversion future-mod for Unreal Tournament 2003 set in the year 2048 after the Third World War. It features a new damage system, stationary weapons, vehicles for faster movements, integrated voice communication tool, and more.

Story:

In the year 2048 a.d., 5 long years after the Third World War (2028-2043). The war was caused by a lack of oil. An atom-attack in 2041 on Australia followed. Not "only" Australia was almost completely destroyed, Europe was the main battlefield for the NAC and the EAA in this cruel war for more than 10 years.

Because of the sack of oil and alternatives the nuclear power has been reactivated. It's comback was also caused by the "cold fusion", which is also very important for the new kinds of weapons which were developed the last 20 years. Prototypes were used in war, but they are not perfect yet.

Governments how we know them from the past almost don't exist anymore. Only one old government stil exists, which is mainly caused by it's success in developement and wars: The NAC:

The other powerful organisations are syndicates and big firms, and they're fighting at any cost for the power over the world.

Officially, the war has ended, but everybody knows:
They are stil fighting on the "Global Warzone"...


FEATURES

* 3 teams with individual remuneration system
* up to 5 different models per team
* player model with at least 16 hitzones
* a new damage system affecting the movability of the player
* integrated endurance system tied to bearing of the weights
* each team with up to 9 weapons in its own arsenal

Tech & Co:

1. Leveltypes

In "Global Warzone" are no regular Leveltypes like in other Team-Shooters. There can (and will) be maps in the desert, in destroyed cities, in the jungle, ...
Why else is this mod called "Global Warzone"?


2 Gametypes

* Deathmatch-Types (DM)
After a kill you will get respawned after a short time. There are no rounds and every frag gives every member of your team a bonus, which can be used to buy new equipment.

* Teamplay-Types (TP)
In this game are 2 teams, NAC and EAA/ISA. Both teams can get soldiers of the ENAU.



Team-Types:

* Hunter Hunted (DM)
Every team has to hunt one other team, but they are hunted, too.

* Gotcha (DM)
Reach the Frag-Limit to win!

* Storm the Fortress (DM)
One team secures a fortress, the two other ones have to reach the destination point to win. After two rounds the orders change!

* Got the Flag (DM)
Three teams, one Flag. Hold the flag to raise your counter and reach the time-limit.

* Capture & Conquer (DM)
Capture all available map sectors. With more controlled sectors more weapons and equipment can be choosed.
