thanks to newsfactory for letting me know there is a new VIA 4-in-1 Driver v4.40A P3 Dated 25 June 2002. This driver will automatically detect and install the latest version of : IDE Busmaster, VIA AGP Driver, IRQ Routing Driver, and VIA INF Driver.

I installed from the regular 4.40 drivers that were released a couple of days ago. Not sure what the changes are, but things seem to be working OK. Never install the IDE driver though, my rig gets all screwy if I do. Get better performance with the WinXP default IDE drivers.

what´s the difference between the 4.40 and the 4.40a?
