So what's your point? Nivida isn't in the beta program any more.

Were they ever even a strategic member?

Maybe nvidia don't need to be in the beta program anymore. Maybe nvidia gave them a lump of cash and are like "cheat? we didn't cheat... did we now?"

The whole point is everyone keeps saying it only cost them $5,000 (that all the time)when in real life it costs $200,000 ... so nvida wasnt lying and certain ATI FANBOYS were sell 1/2 truths like (they are most of the time to bash nvida.)

never has there been mentions of cost above 5,000 to be in the beta program on this site or many others......

nvida woud have to join the strategic level to be able to efect the devolpent as ati has... to make thier cards look better like how 3dmark uses version of shaders that only ati uses that mabe 3 games supprted at the time and not the version that magority of games are useing.

as it apears ati dont have to optuimze for 3dmark .... 3dmark optuimzes thier software for ati cards.. that just how it looks .. yea there is no proof only sucpcions ... but as a strategic meber they have alot to do with the developement of 3dmark software....

lol

well actually it would be retarded for a video card to render pixels the will never be seen in real life that would be a waste.... thats been a feture of cards for about 2 to 3 years now ... you video card cuts the pixels renders of screen and does not render them becouse they cannot be seen and woulds be a total waste ... this is very very old news ...

unless 3dmark has a future release that will let people do the same crap that is done in the special beta versions... then it means absolutely nothing

pixels you dont get to see should NEVER be renderd in a REAL Game or real life

I got bored following this argument a long time ago, but if ATi find it reasonable to pay the fee's why is the bigger company nVidia moaning? maybe ATi thought let's not pay fat cat shardholders and directors huge lumps of money let's make an investment that will help us, help you. I mean $200,000? they could cover that in what a quarter of the 9700 sales p.s. My GF2 Rocks!
