Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 REV.2 Heatpipe VGA Cooler

While CPU temperatures have been on the decline recently, graphics processors seem to be taking the opposite course. For the most part, the OEM coolers on these newer graphics cards are loud and their cooling performance can be described as adequate at best. Many PC enthusiasts, especially gamers, look to the aftermarket for improved VGA cooling, while the silent PC crowd is looking for, well, silence. Arctic Cooling has been a big player in VGA cooling for some time, and their Accelero series of coolers have been very popular due to great performance and affordability. The new Accelero S1 (Rev.2) brings silence to the table with its passive, four-heatpipe design. Let's try it on and see how it fits.

Hi there been busy just popped in quick to point out that "Arctic" in the thread title is misspelled.

On the cooler they work great but unfortunately on this review it is pointless. They compare the passive S1 rev2 to stock and other coolers with fans. The reviewer couldn't fork out 10 bucks for a turbo module to actually make this a review?

Yeah some comparision would have been nice, luckyli other reviews on the net has done so.

I got the S1 rev2 on my 8800gt and it really kicks ass. The install is offcourse a bit longer then other more normal coolers, but it performs really really well. I've fitted a normal 120mm cooler on it, so it actually uses up 3 slots But it cools really well and for a low price
