I would so much love to use Vista but I get a lot worse performance on any games than in XP. I have a plenty power on my gfx card now but it doesn't help at all. Stuttering sound(bioshock, vegas2, assassin's creed), lower fps and a lot of swapping.

Is my computer just too slow for gaming in Vista? Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS seems very awful in vista.

Vegas2 is probably a hopeless case, but I got rid of a lot of minor sound stutters from my Audigy2 ZS when I switched motherboard. My old board was an Nforce4 based MSI, and the new an Intel P35 based Gigabyte. I was considering changing out the card but I have a feeling now that it might not have helped.

On the framerate I had to settle for DX9 mode in Assassins Creed. To help with the swapping you'll simply need more RAM, if it really is swapping.
