Hehe unless your blind or like me were stoned at the time - LOL - and you didn't pay much attention to the Doom III benchmarks at HardOCP or TomsHardware or even Anandtech then you probably don't know that Nvidia seem to have a slight lead over ATI. So here's Yahoo Biz's Ben Berkowitz take on the Doom III benchmarks.
For video game hardware geeks, the sorts of people who put neon lights and see-through windows in their computer cases to stylize their systems, it is one of the ultimate questions: Nvidia or ATI?
The question is more pressing than ever now that gamers are months away from the release of "Doom III," one of the most hotly-anticipated games of all time and the latest creation of John Carmack, the legendary id Software game designer whose work has forced the hands of graphics companies.
It's amazing how so many people are basing what card they are going to buy on DOOM III. Hmmm, wouldn't it be funny if DOOM III was a flop? (I know it won't be though, but that would be funny )
