Network Solutions shutters anti-Islam film site

Network Solutions has suspended a Web site that a Dutch lawmaker was using to promote a yet-to-be-released film critical of Islam.

The Web hosting service said it was investigating whether content on the site--Fitnathemovie.com--was in violation of the hosting service's Acceptable Use Policy.

Unless it actually BROKE LAWS, then censorship is wrong.

I'm no Christian, but I find it offensive that christian sensitivities are brushed aside, but Islam gets a ton of protection from every corner.

If you want to get your way, get some bombs, that seems to be the message!

Simple fact, the unjust suspension of a site critical of Islam, is likely to make more people anti-Islam.

I watched a clip/trailer and while I don't speak the languange, it was quite funny. I would like to say it is a good honest production, and it might be, I haven't watched the film, but from the trailer it felt like pure propaganda. And my views on the matter of islam are not exactly friendly.

When I saw the grandma getting beaten by a group of "muslims" for saying "hello" and the guy explaining what is going on right there infront of the camera, I felt like watching Monty Pythons, or perhaps some 1939 nazi film about jews.

Having said that, it is very wrong to censor the film. I am sure that sooner or later it will be available online from other sources. I will watch it with hopefuly some subtitles.
